Phuket Trip – Best Sims Card Deal and Activity Package

We are finally here in Phuket for 5 days trip!

So we arrived at the airport around 9am in the morning, we try to avoid crowded so once we drop down we went to the check in counter . I guess there are some issues after landing off, they provide a bus to send us to the entrance of the airport.

After check in, once you come out can see a few stores, for phone Sim, water activities package etc. They even have car rental service and many others. At first we decide to ask at the street area for the water activities but it’s make sense when they explain the package to us. We bought a package that we wanted for snorkelling and Island hoping.

image-10image-11

So we get the package at 1600baht for 4 person. This price include taxi to our hotel from the airport if we bought on the arrival day. We feel the price make sense to us so we bought it on the spot. The reason we choose this is because we feel it makes sense and they have a clear English explanation, so it’s easy for us to understand. The package comes with 4 Island Phi Phi Don, Phi Phi Lay,  Khai Nok,  Khai Nui. Sightseeing Lo samah Bay, Pileh Cove and Viking Cave. Will be taking with speedboat that occupied with 35-40 people depending on the boat engine.

img_5185img_5187

As for the Sims card we bought at AIS , is same company as SingTel and maxis. That’s what the person told us. At 99 baht with unlimited data and is 4G for 5 days. Which is quite worth ! If it’s sound good to you, just get from AIS . They have other package price too! They also will help you setup the Sim for you !

Somehow, we feel it’s really worth the price to arrive from the airport to our hotel, Tiger hotel. Which is at Patong. Patong is up the hill and down the hill from the other side.

So our plan was doing water activities, some shopping and beaches!

Check out my itinerary on my next post!

HAPPY HOLIDAY !

Please note that the bus stop next to the police station heads east toward Jiufen, and the bus stop across from the police station heads west toward Taipei. Route 825 provides weekend service only. From here, the bus trip takes roughly 15 minutes, and the fare is NT$15.

2. Alight at Ruifang Station and buy tickets for the Pingxi Line (平溪支線). Take the train to Shifen Railway Station (十分火車站). Rides are unlimited on the Pingxi Line.

3. Taking a Taxi from Ruifang Station: You can save some time by taking the train to Ruifang Station, and take a taxi there. The prices are regulated by the authorities and clearly indicated, so the taxi drivers cannot overcharge. Save even more by sharing a taxi with other travellers going the same way.

After you drop down the BTS, head to the location towards Siam Square Shopping Mall. You can look for the sign board to find out which way to turn. Find the Hello Kitty Café which is at Siam Square, cross over to the row of shop houses in front of the building. You will see an alley leading to the back of the shop houses towards the university in the area. If fail to find the place, ask any local or shop owner. Might need to show them some picture or names of the place, they should be able to understand easier and know where the café is!

Little Zoo Café

This is my first time been to this café in Bangkok and I kind of love it here! Now animal café are so popular in town! And I bet you don’t want to miss it too! This animal are so adorable and they are friendly too!

It hard to see some of the animals in Singapore, but since you are in Bangkok, why not have a visit with them! I’ve been to a lot few of the café in Bangkok and most of it are animals café. They have a few different type of wild animals that allow them to kept in their café.

Animals

Most of it is to let people or tourist like us to visit them, it’s good to have closer feel for those animals out there as you can’t get to see it else where. I mean most of the country not like Bangkok that allow to keep wild animals. Singapore don’t. So it’s kind of boring thou.  I’m so glad that I get to visit here and guess what they have here. These animals are mostly from wild, such as Fennec Fox, Meerkats, Owls, Raccoons and many others. They are trained and as what I seen is they won’t harm people.

IMG_8179IMG_8192

House Rules

They are kept in a separate glass room, where they have their own space and to let people to visit them. They also have house rules, for all guest before entering, need to change to slipper and sanitize your hands before joining them, with only 6 guest at one time for the playtime!

Playtime

They have break playtime in section, cause these animal may get tired easily and might have to wait for the round if you miss the previous. Not to worry, you may have the chance to get to close feel with these animals, just have to be patient. As you can tell the owner and let them know so that they will put you to next.

IMG_8187IMG_8189IMG_8181

Specially, for the fennec fox as we visit the café we didn’t get to see it and after that the owner bring them out for closer touch and cuddle. If you want to visit the Fennec Fox, maybe you can try ask the owner and they will tell you when they will take out or maybe they are resting and if they are resting, you can’t get to see them. But you can still play with others animals if you missed the Fox.

While waiting for your turn, you can get a brunch to munch, they also have desserts with a range of 85 Baht. They do have a few selection of western dishes and beverages to choose from.

Unlike others café, little zoo café have no entrance fee and their dish are more affordable. 🙂 YOLO!

As for the place is not really convenient to go back again, It located in a small alley road side. But if you don’t mind, can go back anytime :).

Opening Hours : Daily: 10.30am to 7.00pm

Little zoo Cafe map.png

The Animals Café

This is why I love Bangkok! Cause I’m a animal lover. It feel so relaxed to see all these animals hanging around and living in good life with well trained and etc. How I wish Singapore have it too! But most is Dogs café. Which is also not bad! I do heard of some of it but haven’t been visit them yet, but sooner I will! 🙂

House Rules

Their rules are the same, you will need to sensitize your hands before you get in and they will have a in charge follow you in along, so not to worry at all!

Animals

In this café they have different type of wild exotic animals too! Such as Raccoons, Fennec Fox, Kittens and Caracals from the wild! Have you missed the Fennec fox from the Little Zoo Café? Well you can see it here too! Animals Café kept Fennec Fox in their own space so you can get to visit them anytime and don’t have to wait!

61C2D83F-DD07-4791-BF23-46FC4C4602558FE11E17-9C6D-4C9A-8470-100D9ED45A3C05DA1CF5-94CD-4D60-8316-80D8ACEE5B78

At first I was scared to visit the Caracals but guess what, when I get in to their cabinet, surprisingly they don’t harm you at all.

I feel safe and I get to hug and touch the Caracals and took a picture with him/her. They look super cute! just like a dog size, they are playful and friendly. But when they are resting inside the cage, it’s very hard to make them out and play, So is best not to disturb them.

These kittens looks normal to me just like those cats outside. The special part is these kittens have leopard printed on it’s body, which I didn’t see it before.

Fennec Fox is the most popular animal I guess! It’s super adorable! and you will totally love it! I would want to keep it as pet if Singapore can approved :(. Come to mention about fennec fox, they quite fierce and they will get panic and run around when they found something that they never see before. When they put the kittens together, they won’t hurt each other but you will get shock by hearing them shouting in a loud and sharp voice. Which they are just starring each other running around with panic reactions. I don’t really know what that means, but after awhile they looks okay to me, is like back to normal. Ha-Ha.

On the other side they also have small little pet like, cherry shrimps, colourful tiny crabs, Argentine horned frogs and a salamander. Wow, Cool uh.

They also have Owl which is at first floor in a small room, if you realize, they actually have Harry Potter’s full costumes you can put on to feel like a true Gryffindor in the owl room. If you are a Harry Potter fan, can play around and take a nice shot, try not to get close to the big Owl, as they look quite dangerous to me. As for all the pet are all good and well trained.

Food

Hungry ? or going here for lunch? This is a right place for brunch and meals such as  western style dishes like Spaghetti, Fish and chip, finger food and etc. I would recommend the spaghetti! It super tasty and it like different from the one we eat at other side.
